Construction of a steel vertical tank

The project began with the development of technical documentation of KM/KMD for the manufacture of a vertical steel tank with a volume of 700 m³ intended for storage of petroleum products. The tank was adhered to in accordance with current standards, taking into account the specifics of the object and the technical task of the customer. For the manufacture of the body of the tank used carbon steel brand ST3, which provides high strength, durability and resistance to deformation.

Upon completion of production, all the elements of the structure were careful quality control, including inspection of welds by non -destructive control methods. The tank was then delivered to the customer's object with specialized transport. Installation work was performed with the involvement of hoisting equipment - the cylindrical body of the tank was mounted on the prepared concrete foundation with accurate positioning. Stairs, fences, hatches, flange nodes and other necessary technological elements were installed.

The final stage was the anti -corrosion treatment of the inner and outer surface of the tank. For this purpose sandblasting was used for the degree of SA 2½ according to ISO 8501-1, after which specialized anti-corrosion coatings, resistant to petroleum products, were applied. Thanks to the comprehensive approach, the tank meets all industrial safety requirements and is ready for long -term operation.
